I know I said the Tivoli Model One radio is the best in the world, but this Vita Audio R1 DAB/FM one might be approaching second place. I haven't actually listened to the sound quality yet, but the reviews are pretty good. The thing that grabbed me was how cool it looks. They cost anywhere from $180 - $200 (which seems like an average price for the well-designed higher end radios) and apparently they are very high in demand. I like the red one the best!

Maybe next you should start your own pirate radio station like in that Christian Slater movie, so that there's a reason to buy a radio in this day and age.
