another blu dot product we like!

We at Cheese Lovers International really like Blu Dot's products, especially the new-ish One Night Stand sofa. So we were delighted to stumble upon one of their newest products -- a cool lamp! Unfortunately this cool lamp, which does not have a name yet, is not available anywhere on their website. BUT, when it comes out, we hope it will be affordable!

a "guillotine" style seating arrangement

Check out this cool bench/seating area/table by Henry Julier appropriately named "Guillotine." It seems like the Guillotine can be used as a bench, but maybe also as a coffee table of sorts. We at CLI think it's quite clever, but not quite sure how much it costs.

Check it out here:

Editor's pick!

The editors of Cheese Lovers International have chosen, as one of their favorite products, this fabulous table/bench/chair by Sam Hecht for Established & Sons.

It's sort of the reinvented, more functional take on the Nelson Platform Bench. According to our research on the world wide web, Hecht's inspiration came from the Tokyo subway system. Next time we're in Tokyo, we will have to see if we, too, draw the same inspiration.

A cool company I've never heard of...

Another Brooklyn-based furniture design company's name stumbled upon the desk of the Editor-in-Chief of Cheese Lovers International. Called "EcoSystems," this company makes very green furniture, so much so that they have a special staff person dedicated to LEED specifications (or something like that). We particularly liked the table ($1,500) and chair ($2,400) pictured here. Check them out here:

another AWESOME chair

Check out this chair by Jaime Hayon. It is incredibly beautiful, cool and functional. Add this to the list of things we would like, but will never have. I think it costs around $1,500. If anyone is friends with Jaime, let me know.

These are available at Future Perfect in Brooklyn, NY or here:

lounge away

How cool is this lounge chair? It looks like something that would match with almost any home decor, and the very fresh blue color is simply perfect. I must add this to the list of things I would like but will never have. Alas, it's about $4,500....
