I believe the term "gayelle" signals a new era of female gay coolness. Too long has the term "lesbian" hegemonized the fragile identity of an entire community of people. Gay women of the world UNITE! Let the world know we are cool, and we no longer accept such an antiquated term (named after a Greek island) to determine our socio-economic fate!
