It's really fun to "discover" furniture designers that have been really famous for a long time. One such person for me is Carlos Motta, a really cool Brazilian woodworker and furniture designer. He is quite senior and has been in the business for a while, but I think his furniture is very contemporary. It's also very Scandinavian with a bit of Japanese-ness. And of course, we at CLI are obsessed with these two areas of the world. I now quite like Brazilian design!
Anyway, check out his cool "Cadeiras São Paulo Coloridas," or Sao Paulo Colored Chairs, I think.
