For those of us who consider Washington, D.C. to be the "South," I have news for you: I have no idea if I agree with you, but I do know that D.C. is kind of cool. There are some cool indy furniture shops and lots of eco-friendly options to go around! Who knew D.C. was kind of cool AND green?
Speaking of cool, there's a cool store/place called "Well Built" in the U Street area of D.C., and they have awesome furniture there!! It's also VERY green and indy designed! We like it!
